Join Claire and Kate for a wonderful seven night retreat on a perfect Greek island, Kefalonia, at luxury retreat venue, Vericoco.

Vericoco overlooks the Ionian sea and has magnificent views of Mount Aenos. It is a space designed for creative practices and relaxation. It offers guests the chance to reconnect with nature alongside likeminded people. It’s a place to stop, step back and recharge. Set within olive groves and with magnificient views of the majestic Mount Aenos and the Ionian sea, simply savouring the surroundings is meditation in and of itself.

Twice daily yoga will be available, practicing in the outdoor wooden shala with stunning views and birdsong. We can enjoy trips to any of the nearby beaches (8 mins walk to a beach).

Our retreats are about immersing ourselves in our surroundings, so three excursions and events are included - a sea boat trip, visit to an olive grove and a BBQ and Greek dancing on our final evening!

If you haven’t been on retreat with Claire and Kate before, be prepared to have an extremely enjoyable week of yoga, rest and fun. This is a holiday for rest and relaxation. We, and our Greek hosts will endeavour to ensure you are blissfully happy!

Claire loves teaching dynamic flow yogas, but balances this out beautifully with breathwork.

Claire is passionate about working with the Blind Community, teaching classes for BlindAid, a charity organization that provides support and services to people with visual impairments.
As well as offering her clients meditations, sound healing and a variety of day & weekend retreats throughout the year.

Kate has been teaching yoga since 2004, and trained with the British Wheel of Yoga. Kate has undertaken numerous training courses including Yoga for Healthy Lower Backs, Restorative yoga, Yoga Nidra, Vagal Toning and Menopause Yoga.

Twice Daily Yoga

Claire and Kate were at school together, so we go back a long way. Recently united through yoga and mantra, we have been running retreats together since 2024, having run two retreats in Costa Rica, two in Spain, one in Turkey with others planned for The Lake District and Morocco.

A variety of yoga classes will be available - choose to join as many or as few as you wish.

The outdoor shala benefits from dappled shade and beautiful views, with birdsong to accompany our practice.

Kefalonia

Vericoco

Around the estate are plenty of quiet spots for visitors to take time out and explore, including the organic vegetable gardens, the fruit tree grove with traditional well. The grounds are spacious enough for guests to enjoy plenty of solitary moments, yet conveniently laid out to provide easy access to all the shared facilities.

Just 300 metres from Spartia beach, you can choose between taking advantage of the local facilties including three restaurants and cafes at just a short walk away, or preferring to stay within the grounds and using the self catering facilities or taking the meals provided.

Accomodation

The bedrooms are divided amongst several villas and apartment buildings. Most rooms have a stunning sea view, or overlook the lush gardens.

Guests can choose from a variety of accomodation options, either within the luxurious main villas or the smaller stylish studios and apartments.

VENUE – Vericoco, Kefalonia

Vericoco is a luxury Greek island retreat set in a place of outstanding natural beauty, providing a space specifically for peace, relaxation and practice.

The nearest airport is Kefalonia (EFL), approximately 15 minutes transfer away. Transfers to and from Kefalonia airport are included, as long as you can join the organized group transfer. Of course, you are welcome to make your own travel arrangements if you’re extending your trip on either side of the retreat.

FLIGHTS & TRANSFERS

Flight information will be released once the schedules are available, sometime in Sept 2027.

INCLUDED EXCURSIONS

Three excursions and activities are included in your retreat –

A day boat trip along the coast

A trip to an olive grove to learn about olive oil production

BBQ and Greek dancing on the last night

There are local beaches within a few minutes walk. We will have the opportunity to enjoy local walks on the island.

THE YOGA

Twice daily yoga will be available – do as little or as much as you wish. This really is your retreat, your way. Claire and Kate offer a variety of yoga classes, so there is something for everyone.

Massages can be booked upon arrival.

Please ensure you have adequate travel insurance, your passport is valid for at least 6 months after the 3rd October 2028 (check the Government website if unsure) and that you have a GHIC card.

Rooms are distributed amongst a variety of beautiful, well decorated, villas, and most have stunning sea views, or views of the gardens. Kitchen facitilies are available for all guests.
