Wildlife and Wellness yoga retreat, 8-15th May 2028, Norway

Take time to enjoy a gentle pause from the pace of everyday life. The Wildlife and Wellness yoga retreat in Norway is designed to help you slow down, reconnect, and return to yourself—through guided experiences, restorative space, and time to simply be.

Our week in May has been carefully chosen to optimise bird watching opportunities, whilst enjoying the spring flowers. The retreat centre is surrounded by mountains for stunning views, with walking routes from the doorstep.

Twice daily yoga, deep relaxation, time in nature, connection with like minded individuals, delicious food, great accomodation and optional excursions including canoeing, rafting and a cultural day out to a sculpture park.

GETTING THERE

Fly into Oslo Gardermoen airport before a 2 hour drive to the venue - flight details to be confirmed upon release of airline schedules. You are welcome to make your own plans to get to the venue, or extend your trip with more time to enjoy Norway.

OUR VENUE

We will be staying at Dharma Mountain, a popular retreat venue 2 hours from Oslo, renowned for it’s peaceful surroundings, with beautiful views of the mountains, and a river flowing nearby with the option of wild swimming. There is a sauna in the main house. Holistic therapies are available to book - please enquire for details.

ACCOMODATION & CUISINE

There are ten cosy cabins, each with two bedrooms, a shared bathroom and kitchen area. Whilst each bedroom can accommodate two people with a single bed and a bunk bed, we recommend that you book a single room unless you’re keen to share a relatively small room with a friend or partner, and one of you has to be comfortable getting into a bunk bed.

Three vegetarian meals a day are included, with teas and coffees available too. Our partners, Huzar Vadisi, are renowned for ensuring their retreat venues offer delicious food.

YOGA

Yoga will be offered every day - join in as little or as much as you wish.

Claire and Kate are both experienced teachers. We went to school together, and have been running retreats together since 2024 - you can find more about these on other pages on this site.

EXCURSIONS

There are walks from the doorstep, or we can arrange transport to enjoy a longer hike in the mountains - if lucky we might see an eagle soaring overhead.

Optional canoeing and rafting trips can be arranged with local guides who will provide all the equipment.

The river flows near to the venue, where we can take a dip, or just paddle in the pools.

Trips can be arranged to a local sculpture park and glassworks for those who like to immerse themselves in the local culture.
